Ever wondered how the stars of the West End deliver those remarkable performances each and every night? It’s all down to a healthy mind, a sensible diet and the hard labour of a few hours at the gym.

But don’t take our word for it, let ensemble actor from Disney’s London musical Aladdin explain a little more…

In a Gay Times exclusive, join Travis Kerry as he takes you through his routine to stay in the best shape that helps bring all the magic we’ve all come to love from a night at the Prince Edward Theatre.

“Aladdin is very physically demanding. You have to bring the energy, bring the charisma, bring that fire in your belly,” Travis explains. “It takes a lot of determination and hard work… and a lot of sweat.”

“As well as being fit physically, you have to be fit mentally, which I will balance with ten or 20 minutes a day of yoga.”

Later adding: “As soon as you walk on stage and the curtain goes up and you feel the energy from the audience, you know it’s all worth it!”
